Wow! Man Utd Transfer Target leaves 'pitch in tears'

Reported Manchester United target Paulo Dybala broke down as he hobbled off during Juventus' win against Cagliari after suffering a thigh muscle strain. The Argentina superstar pulled up with the injury shortly after the restart in the Bianconeri's 1-0 win at the Stadio Sant'Elia on Saturday night and left the pitch in tears as he was replaced by Douglas Costa.

Juventus confirmed that the 24-year-old underwent an MRI scan on Sunday morning which revealed that he had suffered a 'mild to medium strain to his right thigh'.

Dybala is now set for a spell on the sidelines amid intense speculation about his future in Turin - despite only signing a new five-year contract in April.

The Juventus No.10 previously claimed that he 'can't promise' he will stay at the club forever and admitted that he missed former team-mate Paul Pogba.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, though, is not having any of it and claims Dybala could not play as a centre forward for a 'big club'.

“Dybala played well the other night. But he cannot play centre-forward for a big club, where the distance to goal is much shorter," he said ahead of the win against Cagliari.

“Just look at his best goals for Juve - they’re often when he’s running from deeper positions.”
