Verratti Confirms Mino Raiola is his new agent

Manchester United are set to rival Barcelona in their attempts to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti as the Italian midfielder joins forces with super-agent Mino Raiola. Joes Mourinho has been given a major boost in his attempts to land the signing of the talented 24-year-old. Verratti has dropped his agent and turned to Raiola who has a number of strong connections with United, reports Mirror.

Verratti announced the news on social media but the interesting thing is that he has now opted for Raiola to take over his affairs.

He wrote on Instagram: “I communicate that with immediate effect the only person entitled to represent my sporting interests is Mr Mino Raiola.

“I thank the lawyer Di Campli for the excellent work done to date.”

‘Super agent’ Raiola is well-known for overseeing some of the biggest transfers in European football, including Paul Pogba’s world-record switch from Juventus to Manchester United last summer.

Raiola also oversaw Romelu Lukaku’s switch from Everton to Old Trafford and has also represented Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

That’s not all, Raiola also oversaw Gianluigi Donnarumma’s new contract at AC Milan, and as you can see, he tends to be a man who gets players exactly what they want.

Raiola has negotiated with United heavily in the past year, helping bring clients like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Old Trafford.
