Spanish Maestro: "I want Man Utd Deal"

Ander Herrera had an impressive season with Manchester United last term, earning the club's Player of the Season award. The Spain international was an ever-present for Jose Mourinho in the heart of midfield, making 50 appearances in all competitions. His performances were said to have attracted the attention of Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde who worked with him at Athletic Bilbao, reports Express.

Herrera said:

“There is nothing certain about Barcelona because I am very happy at United," he said after United's 5-2 win over LA Galaxy.

"I feel valued and focused here."

He will reportedly be offered a £200,000-a-week deal plus bonuses - more than doubling his current wages. Herrera joined United in 2014 from Atheltic Bilbao for £24m and has since made 122 appearances for the club in all competitions.
