Ramos Posts touching tribute to Morata over Chelsea transfer

This time last month, reports were rife that Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata was set to join Manchester United in a big-money move. Richard Keys claimed a deal was "done", while various other sources stated that only a fee needed to be agreed between the two clubs. We're now in mid-July and United have signed Romelu Lukaku instead for £75 million and Morata is about to join Chelsea.

Here is Ramos's tribute to Morata:

In a loose translation, Ramos wrote: "Moratoski, all the luck in the world. Enjoy your new stage and still getting goals as you do. You will be missed. @AlvaroMorata."

Morata's knack for scoring goals as a substitute will certainly be missed at Real, but there's no denying he deserves to be a first-choice striker.

In 26 La Liga appearances last season, 12 of which from the bench, the Spaniard scored a rather impressive 15 goals.
