A report in Brazil on Tuesday added to uncertainty over Neymar's future at Barcelona, after Esporte Interativo claimed he has accepted an offer from Paris Saint-Germain and will move for a world-record transfer fee of €222 million.

This comes after reports in Spain said on Monday that PSG were ready to pay the huge buyout clause to land Neymar, following a report in Sport that he feels his development at Barcelona is being stifled by Lionel Messi.

On Tuesday afternoon, reports in France claimed that PSG’s sporting director, Antero Henrique, rushed back to Paris in order to settle an ‘urgent matter’, which included talks with the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Barcelona and PSG have already been in talks this summer over a deal for Marco Verratti, but the French club are refusing to sell the Italy international.
