Perisic leaves Inter training camp; Announcement in 24 hours

Ivan Perisic has left Inter’s training camp as Manchester United continue talks over a deal for the winger. The official line from Inter is that the 28-year-old is suffering from a toothache and has left their training base in Riscone di Brunico, Italy to visit his personal dentist in Croatia for treatment, reports Sport Witness.

Inter want just under £50m for their star man but United are unwilling to pay their asking price. And the Daily Telegraph say the Red Devils hope to complete the deal before Inter head to China for their pre-season tour on Tuesday. Perisic is keen to join United and work with Mourinho but Inter are playing hardball over their star man.

A couple of days ago, Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Perisic to Manchester United could be completed ‘in 24 hours’, once the Premier League club meet Inter’s demands. That’s because personal terms have already been agreed, so Perisic would simply travel to complete the move and join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
