Man Utd have deal in place to sign Toni Kroos

Jose Mourinho has launched a Kroos missile at Real Madrid. The Spanish giants have angered Manchester United by reigniting their interest in David De Gea, just weeks after they had stated publicly that they no longer wanted to sign the Reds’ goalkeeper. United have retaliated by demanding that German midfielder Toni Kroos should be included in any proposed deal to take De Gea to Madrid, reports Daily Star.

United have retaliated by demanding that German midfielder Kroos should be included in any proposed deal to take De Gea to Madrid. Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the stylish German, believing the 27-year-old would dovetail neatly with £89 million record buy Paul Pogba. Madrid would be reluctant to part with Kroos, just as United are in no rush to release De Gea.

Should De Gea leave, United have two strong options to replace him within the club in Sergio Romero, who led the club to Europa League victory last season, and young star Joel Pereira, who is highly rated by Mourinho. Although they’ve also been linked with a move for Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel if De Gea walks away.
