Loic Remy on his way to Everton

Loic Remy is set to leave Chelsea this summer with Marseille and Everton interested in signing the forward, Sky sources understand. The Frenchman will fly to China this week for the club's pre-season tour of the Far East but will be allowed to leave the club if they sign a new center forward, reports Sky Sports.

The former QPR and Newcastle forward has made a good start to pre-season scoring twice on Saturday in Chelsea's 8-2 win over Fulham in a friendly at their Cobham training ground.

Despite his limited number of appearances for Chelsea, the French striker does have a good record scoring 8 goals in 32 appearances.

The rumours of Remy's departure from Chelsea have come after Chelsea were offered the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £70m.

Remy has proven time and time again that he has the ability to find the back of the net consistently in the Premier League. If he can stay fit, he could be a real asset for any side.
