Di Maria: "I want PSG stay"

Angel Di Maria looks set to commit his future to Paris Saint-Germain after telling the French press there is no doubt that he will remain at the club next season. The Argentinian has been one of the most prolific playmakers in Europe over the past two seasons since his move to Ligue 1, reports Football-Italia.

The winger has been repeatedly linked with the Nerazzurri, though technical director Walter Sabatini said last week he may not fit the profile they’re looking for.

“Will I stay in Paris this season?” Di Maria considered, speaking to Le Parisien from PSG’s training base in the USA.

“For me there’s no doubt about it, I want to stay. I don’t know about the club though. The reality is that my family is good here and I’m happy in Paris.”

PSG completed the free transfer signing of Manchester City target Dani Alves last week after the Brazilian left Juventus following one season in Italy.

And Di Maria is excited by the prospect of linking up with former Barcelona right back Alves, who is the second arrival at the Parc des Princes after Yuri Berchiche joined from La Liga side Real Sociedad.
