Brazilian star Confirms He wants £31m transfer to Chelsea

Chelsea are in talks over the signing of Real Madrid right-back Danilo, according to Sky sources. Sources in Italy say the Brazilian is wanted as competition for Victor Moses, who was converted to a wing-back role during Antonio Conte's first season at Stamford Bridge, reports Sky Sports.

The Brazilian defender has made 55 appearances since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu from FC Porto back in 2015 but is being strongly linked with a big-money transfer to Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2017/18 season.

Marca claim that 25-year-old Danilo is desperate to secure a place in Tite’s Brazil squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia next summer and considers Chelsea as the best alternative for him in the lead-up to the tournament.

While Danilo struggled for game-time at Real Madrid last term under Zinedine Zidane, the legendary Frenchman would prefer to keep hold of the ex-Santos man this summer.
