Man Utd offered James Rodriguez for 60 million by Real Madrid

Man Utd chiefs have an excellent deal in their hands as James Rodriguez has been offered for a summer transfer for a fee of 60 million. This offer was made by James Rodriguez's agent, Jorge Mendes, on behalf of Real Madrid. Woodward is deciding whether to take up this option or go for other players, reports Daily Star.

James Rodriguez was a Man Utd target before he joined Real Madrid from AS Monaco. Since then, Man Utd have kept a close eye on his progress. He had a stellar first season at Real Madrid and now he has lost his place in the first team to Casemiro after a series of injuries and lack of determination shown on the pitch. He is currently on the substitutes bench and that is a new low for a player of his caliber.

Man Utd are waiting to become clearer on the managerial situation before making a decision on whether to pursue James Rodriguez. It's believed that Man Utd will go for Alvaro Morata, Raphael Varane and James Rodriguez if Mourinho is appointed and that will be sweet revenge on his former club, Madrid.
