Club confirm Xhaka transfer to Arsenal

Arsene Wenger is on a mission to sign the best players for Arsenal and convince the fans that he is the right man for the job and he has already completed the first of many transfers this season. Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed that a deal has been agreed for the Swiss midfielder, Granit Xhaka, reports Daily Star.

Gladbach's official website had a post that read:

“There has been a specific offer for the Swiss midfielder [Xhaka]. “[We have] an agreement with the interested club but [it] is still pending.”

Granit Xhaka is a wonderful midfielder and is a real catch for Arsenal. He is brought in as a replacement for Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky who have all left the club. Xhaka will surely anchor the midfield along with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Elneny and Coquelin. Arsene Wenger has also lined up Alvaro Morata, Kante and also an audacious thought to sign Paul Pogba.
